The Greek Olympics were a series of athletic competitions among representatives of city-states. The Greek Olympics began in 766 BC and were meant to honor Zeus and the other Gods and to also glorify the abilities of men. At the time Greece was separated and we’re almost always at war with each other so the olympics was a great way to get together for a whole week because the greek olympics would be for a week every 4 years. The games were held in Olympia on Mt. Olympus cause thats where the Greek gods supposedly lived. The Greek olympics finally ended in the 4th century AD because Olympia was destroyed from earth quakes.

Today I’m going to be talking about a crazy DC movie called Suicide Squad.

The movie starts off in a prison where we meet 5 criminals who have been chosen to defeat the Enchantress, the Enchantress was an ancient inter-dimensional mythical being who possessed the body of a woman named June Moone. If they could defeat the Enchantress they got 10 years off their sentence. The criminals were chosen because they all knew how to kill someone. They were put with a few soldiers and one of them was named Rick Flag and he was dating June so he was chosen because he knew all about her and how to help her. The only way to kill the Enchantress would be to destroy her heart which they did. They all thought June was dead but she was still alive and ok.

Today I’m going to be telling the story of a Latin epic poem called The Aeneid written by Virgil.

The Aeneid is a story about a Trojan prince named Aeneas and his journeys after the fall of his city. The book starts when Aeneas’s city Troy falls and he has to flea the city, after traveling for a very long time he ending up in small city called Carthage. The queen of the city is named Dido and she didn’t have a prince so when Aeneas came by she immediately fell in love with him and devoted all of her time to him. Aeneas knowing that he could not stay in Carthage for forever and he had to find a true home but he still led Dido on and when he ended up leaving Dido was so heart broken that she committed suicide. After Aeneas travels he ended up going to Rome and found his true home in Italy.

My mom is the best mom ever and always tries her hardest for my brother and I so I wanted to make an essay all about her.

My mom has always been very smart so after she graduated college she wanted and she did while my dad worked from home he would also watch my brother and I while my mom was at work. Once we were older my mom became a respiratory therapist and has been for over ten years. Instead of working at night during the night shift she switched to day shift so we could see her more and spend more time with her. My mom also likes to sew and she makes scrub caps for some of her friends at work but she also makes me grip bags for my grips (grips are kinda like special bracelets that help us grip the bar). My mom is an amazing cook and baker and she has made all of my birthday cakes my whole life. She makes amazing dinners and always cooks a big meal on Thanksgiving.

Today I will be talking about the differences in Judah and Israel. I will be talking about the kings, the kingdom and much more.

One of the first differences is that Israel had 19 kings verse Judah which had 20 kings. Not all of these kings would rule for a long time, some of them would rule for a month. The next difference is how longed they lasted. Israel lasted for 211 years verse Judah lasted for 327 years. Another difference between these two is how they fell. Israel fell was because of how the people acted and when their last king Hoshea went to war they were captured by The Assyrians and they were forced to pay tribute to Assyria but when Hoshea refused to pay tribute and thats when Israel truly fell. The kingdom of Judah fell because the people being forced out of their kingdom and couldn’t come back for 70 years before being allowed to come back and re-establish their kingdom.

HAPPPY THANKSGIVING

Instead of a summarizing the rest of the book I’m going to write about what I think happened at the end of the last chapter.

In the last chapter Amuba frees the people from slavery in Egypt and takes his fathers place who died in war and becomes the king of Rebu. After this chapter I think he has a peaceful ruling and marries a beautiful woman. I think they will have three kids 1 girl 2 boys. The boys are 1 year apart in age and the oldest will become king after Amuba dies. I do think the people will benefit from Amubas ruling and they will become better people and make more money and come up with more ideas for businesses and inventions.

Today I will be talking about one of the kings of Israel. There were many so many different rulers of Israel but I chose Ahab because I find him the most interesting.

Ahab was the son of Omri which made Ahab the seventh ruler of Israel. Ahab was the most wicked ruler of Israel and wasn’t a true worshiper of god. Because of this god didn’t let him rule during a time of peace. Ahab married the daughter of a Canaanite priest. The name of his daughter was Jezebel and she had a little control over Ahab. An example is that she wanted a temple dedicated to her father, so he built one. Ahab ruled for 19 years before he died from an arrow when at war with the Syrians.

The Cat of Bubastes is a fictional story written by George Alfred Henty. The story takes place in 1889 in a nation called Rebu but most of the story takes place in Egypt. I have not read the whole book so I will be only talking about what I have read so far. The story is mainly about four characters, Jethro, Chebron, Amuba, and Ameres. Amuba is the main character and he was the prince of Rebu. Jethro doesn’t show up much in the story but is all so from Rebu and is Amuba’s bodyguard. Chebron is he other main character and is the son of one of the highest priest in Egypt. Last but not least is Ameres, Ameres is a very wise man who gives Amuba and Chebron good advice.

The story begins in Rebu where the people are getting ready for a big attack from the Egyptians. The people of Rebu thought their defenses would be enough but they quickly got destroyed. The whole royal family was killed expect Amuba. So the rest of the people were taken into Egypt to be held as slaves. Jethro and Amuba were luckier then most of the people because they were chosen by the high priest, Ameres who was a very kind master. Ameres gave Jethro his daughter Mysa, and Amuba his son Chebron. Jethro loved serving Mysa and Amuba and Chebron became friends extremely fast.

Later on in the story Amuba, Chebron, and Jethro went hunting when they heard a loud scream and saw a girl named Ruth being carried away by a crocodile. They killed the crocodile and carried her out of the lake. They found out that Ruth had a grandpa that was going to die soon, so he asked them if there was a place she could live in after he died. They said she could be Mysa’s personal assistant, and Ruth accepted.

After they all brought Ruth home life was pretty calm, but that didn’t last for awhile. One day when Amuba and Chebron went hunting Chebron shot an arrow and it went a stray and shot The Cat of Bubastes (a sacred cat dedicated to the Egyptian god Bubastes). Chebron was terrified since this crime could lead to the punishment of death, so he told Amuba, and they decided to clean up the blood and barry it.

This is all Iv’e read so far and I hope you enjoyed reading it and I will write more about it in the future.

Solomon was a the wisest and wealthiest king of The United Kingdom of Israel. Solomon was born in 990 BCE and was the second born son of King David. He ruled for 40 years before he was punished for sins. Solomon was king after David his father, when God asked Solomon what he wanted out of anything in the world he said wisdom instead of money or power he chose wisdom. Solomon ended up making some pretty bad choses and one of those bad choses was that he had a ton of wives and riches. He ended up having 700 wives and 300 concubines total so 1000 woman total. When God found out about this he punished Solomon by taking the kingdom away from him and giving it to one of his slaves, but this wouldn’t happen during his ruling but it would happen during his son Rehoboam during his ruling. Solomon ended up dying in 931 BCE of natural causes.

Normally I train after school but when I don’t I like to have fun, and today I’m going to tell you what I like to do after school and my night routine.

I’m home schooled which makes things a lot easier so which means all I have to do is put away my school supplies and continue with my day. After I’m done with school its normally 1PM so then I go to the kitchen to make myself a late lunch. After I’m done with lunch I go to my room I do a couple fun crafts such as making slime or painting. Then I normally call my friend or play video games for a couple hours. By then its dinner time so I go to the kitchen and eat dinner and to hang out with my family. Its pretty late by now so I get in to my pjs and chill for a little before I brush my teeth and go to bed.
