Saul was the first king of Israel and was chosen by the judge Samuel because the people were begging him for a king. Once Saul was king he made many bad decisions. One of his horrible decisions was when his army was about to go to battle, he took an oath that no one could eat or drink for the whole day. So when they went to war everyone was very weak and couldn’t fight. There ended up being one guy named Jonathan who didn’t know about the oath and ate honey earlier that day, so when they were at war and everyone was extremely weak Johnathan saved them because he had the energy and strength to fight. After the battle they won but that oath made the people lose a lot of respect for Saul. Once Saul found out that Johnathan ate that day he was going to kill him but the people stood up for him and told Saul that’s the only reason they won the battle. So Saul didn’t end up killing him. Saul ended up dying by committing suicide by falling onto his own sword.

I enjoy crafting so much and I wanted to share that with you. So today I’m going to tell you some of the crafts that I like to do and why.

The first craft I like to do is models. Models are what they sound like, models are mini replicas of a building or car that you have to put together. Models are pretty hard and messy but still very fun. Normally once you’re done with a model you put it on display as a decoration. The second craft that I enjoy doing is making slime. Slime is a fun toy normally made out of glue and borax. Slime is also pretty messing but still very fun. You can customize slime to your liking, you can make it different colors and add glitter, sprinkles, and other decorations. Slime can also be made with any type of liquid glue. I normally use Elmers glue but you can use any brand. The last craft that I’m going to talk about today is painting. Panting is so much fun and you can paint on all sorts of things. Painting is awesome because you can customize your stuff to make look funner and brighter. Another thing that makes painting awesome is you don’t always have to make it perfect and you can be free with painting.

In the Bible it talks about what happened when someone would disobey God. For example when the Hebrews escaped Egypt they asked Aaron, the brother of their leader Moses, to fashion a golden calf during the absence of Moses on Mt. Sinai. When God saw the people worshipping the golden calf he told Moses and Moses was surprised by this. God was mad at the people for breaking the Ten Commandments so he split the ground in half which ended up killing about 3000 people. This was only one example of the people disobeying god, things have happened way worse than this.

I decided to write about my daily routine so you can know a little more about my life. First I wake up and go to my desk to do some of my school work. Then once I’m done with that I go eat breakfast. After my breakfast I finish the rest of my school work. By then it normally noon so I go eat lunch. After I’m done eating lunch and doing school I get ready for gymnastics practice. To get ready for gymnastics I have to get dressed, brush my hair, and pack my bag. After I get home from gymnastics practice I put my bag away and I go take a shower. After my shower I get dressed and eat dinner. Once I’m done eating dinner I brush my teeth and chill in my room. A little later I say goodnight to my family and go to bed.

Hans Brinker is a story about a boy and his sister who try to win an ice skating competition for the prize of sliver skates. I decided to compare my life to his. Hans has a sister verses me who has a brother. Hans father sadly gets sick but gets a lot better verses my dad who is thankfully heathy. Another thing that is different between Hans life and my life is he does ice skating and I do gymnastics. Something we have in common is that we both do sports and we both compete in that sport. One more thing thats different between us is where we’re from, I’m from America and he’s from the Netherlands.

The ten plagues of Egypt is a story where there are ten disasters inflicted on Egypt from the God of Israel in order to convince the Pharaoh to let the Israelites depart from their slavery. The first plague was turning blood into water. When this happened they turned the nile river was turned to blood, which was there main source of water so all the fish died and they were very low on water. The second plague was frogs. The water was back to normal but there was frogs crawling out of the water and holes. The third plague was lice. The sand turned to lice and people and animals were being infected with lice. The fourth plague was flies. All of Egypt was being swarmed with flies but this only affected the Egyptians and not the Israelites. The fifth plague killed all their animals. The sixth plague was boils. This burned peoples skin and they had many scars because of this. The seventh plague was hail. The eighth plague was locusts. Locusts are short horned grass hoppers. The ninth plague was darkness. For 3 whole days it was complete darkness. The tenth and final plague was the death of the firstborn. In every household the firstborn had to sadly be killed.

Egyptians believed in many things and one of those things was mummification. Mummification is a process that people used to do to preserver a body after it died. There were different types of treatments for mummification and one them was royal treatment. The process of royal mummification starts off with removing all the organs and putting salt in the body then they hide it away for 70 days. After 70 days they wrap it in bandages and bury the body. The reason why Egyptians did mummification is because they believed after death, the body was the home of the individual’s spirt as he or she journeyed through the after-life

Brazil is a very interesting place that most people don’t know a lot about so thats why I’m going to be talking about it today. Brazil is located in South America and happens to be the largest country in South America. Brazil takes up a lot of the eastern coast of South America and most of the continents interior. Brazilian cuisine varies greatly be region, but the country’s national dish is Feijoada. Feijoada is a stew that includes beans, pork, and beef. Brazils national drink is just coffee. I hope you liked learning a little about brazil, and I hope you continue to learn more about it.

The book of Genesis is the first book of the Hebrew bible and today I’m going to tell you some of the story’s in the book. First there was Abraham and he had a son named Isaac who he loved very much. Once Issac got a little older God said Abraham go to the top of this mountain and sacrifice Isaac as a burnt offering. So the next day he went to the top of the mountain with Isaac and tied him down, he took the knife but then God told him to stop and he now knows that he truly worships God.

Isaac grew up and had two sons Esau and Jacob. Isaac became so old that he could’t see so he wanted to give Esau his blessing before he dies so he called Esau to his tent and tells him to go hunt an animal to put in stew so he can him his blessing Esau leaves to go hunt but Rebekah, Isaac’s wife over hears their conversation and goes to make stew to give to Jacob and she tells him to pretend to be Esau so he could get his blessing and Jacob agrees. It works and Jacob got Esau’s blessing and after Esau figured out that Jacob took his blessing he was going to kill him. Rebekah tells Jacob to run so he did, he grabbed some supplies and fled.

I’m a normal kid who lives a normal life and today I’m going to tell you about it. I’m a 11 year old girl who lives in North Carolina. I’m homeschooled and I do school five days a week. I also do gymnastics four days a week for two and a half hours on week days and four hours on week ends. In my free time I like to do crafts and TV. In school I do four subjects and I also do German lessons. I love to hang out with my friends especially on halloween because we do a group costume.
