God is known as the supreme being and creator of man kind but not every one may believe he is real. When I was little I didn’t know who god was so I clearly didn’t believe in God at the time. As i got older I learned more about him from school and my parents. Many people do believe in him and others don’t and thats fine because you can’t force someone to believe something just because you do. Now that I’m older and know who God is I do believe in him and will continue to figure out more about him

It’s the school year now but during the summer I went on vacation to Myrtle Beach. I stayed in a resort for the first time and it was so much fun. Our room was on the 5th floor and had a balcony where you could see the beach and the pool from. Instead of there being one pool there was a ton of different ones. There was also a gate from the pool area to the beach for an easy way to get to the beach. On one of the nights we had reservations for a fancy restaurant that was really close to the hotel. I had so much going to Myrtle Beach and I cant wait to go again.

I have learned about many countries but Asia Minor also known as Anatolia is my favorite. It’s located in most of modern day Turkey. People go there to look at some of the old buildings that haven’t been destroyed. Asia minor can be known for the land of the Hittites. Hittites referred to their land as ‘Assuwa’ which only designated the area around the delta of the river. The Hittite religion and mythology were religious beliefs and practice of the Hittites who created an empire.

A lot has happened since my last article on the railway children so I’m going to get right into it. One night Roberta goes outside to get the mail and there was one letter that had her father’s name on it, she opened it up and reads that her father has been charged guilty for sending secret info about the US to Russia and is sentenced to 5 years in prison. Roberta is terrified from what she just read and runs to her mother showing her the letter. Her mom comforts her and try’s to calm her down, but Roberta was still very scared and asked her mother is she though he would be ok. Her mother told her he would fine and they would figure out more later but right now she should go to bed. Months pass and she doesn’t tell her siblings one day Roberta goes to the railway and then she see’s a tall man get out of the train and she realizes it’s her dad. She runs to give him a hug and show to him their new home.

The Tower of Babel was is an origin meant to explain why people speak many different languages around the world. This was 3 generations after Noah and the flood and the people built this tower just in case god sent another flood even though that god promised Noah not send another flood to destroy mankind ever again. As god observed their city and tower he confounds their speech so they can’t under stand what everyone is saying. After that he scatters everyone around the world in 3 tribes, the Hamitic, Shemetic, and Japhitic tribes that populated the world. If I lived when this happened and I found a group of people who also spoke the new language that I speak and we had to move I would to go to Russia.

I loved everything that I learned but there was a few things that I liked a little more than the others.

The first thing I liked learning about was Bill Gates and how he didn’t let his past stop him from becoming successful. Bill was given up for adoption after he was born and his birth parents had nothing to do with him. I also found it amazing how he took advice that his dad gave him from when he was 5 to all the way till he was an adult.

My second favorite topic was learning about the VCR. I liked how it opened a whole new window in technology and allowed people to watch one show and record the other. The VCR was a big hit and sold fast. I also like how some people still have them and still use them in stead of using different devices.

Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs was an American entrepreneur and co- founder of Apple Inc. Steve Jobs was adopted because his bio parents got pregnant with him when they weren’t married. They weren’t able to get an abortion so they put him up for adoption after he was born. When Steve was about 5 years old his dad told him advise that he would never forget. He told him “Always pay attention to the small details no mater what”. He cared that advise through his whole life. Steve was bullied in school so he persuaded his parents to buy a new house so he could go to a better school. If Steves bio parents choose to get a abortion we wouldn’t have all the apple electronics we have today.

Bill Gates

Bill Gates is an American business magnate and software developer. Since Bill was the CEO of microsoft he made billions. His net worth has doubled 20 billion to 146 billion in 2021. Bill Gates also has 3 kids but sadly got divorced after 27 years of marriage to his wife, Melinda Gates. They choose to still work together but no longer work together as a couple.

Graphical User Interface

The graphical user interface is a user interface that allows users to interact with electronic devises through graphical icons. The graphical user interface stands for GUI if you don’t know what that is it allows the user of the computer to communicate with the pointer around on the screen and any button pressed.

The Internet Protocol Suite

The internet protocol suite is a set of communications protocols used on the internet and are similar computer networks. The internet protocol suite resulted from when research and development was being done on a different subject so technically it was made on accident. The internet protocol does a lot for our modern day computers.

The VCR

The VCR is an electromechanical video recorder that records analog audio and video. One of the best things about the VCR is that it lets you record one of your shows but also watch another. It was invented in Japan in the 1970s. In the early 1970s and 1980s there were two standards in format VHS and Betamax. This led to a war with the companies making them and finally VHS won. Eventually by the late 1990s dvds had been made and they caused VHS tapes and VCRs to not be used anymore.

The Microprocessor

A microprocessor is a computerized unit that uses both a computer processor and individual circuit in one. It is a multipurpose digital circuit that accepts binary data as input, processes it out then provides an output. In the 1960s designers were striving to integrate the functions of a CPU into MPU chipsets. All this led to the first commercial microprocessor but the company Intel. Since the 1970s microprocessors have continued to increase in capacity about every two years and are commonly used.

Unix

The unix is a family of multiuser computer operating systems that came from the original AT&T. The unix was developed in the 1960s by Bell Labs. Bell Labs is an American researcher and business owner. He has continued his research and now he has a research business.

The Video Game Console

The video game console is digital computer device that outputs a video signal to display a video game that one or more people can play. Video games appeared in the 1960s and were played on massive computers that were connected to vector displays. In 1972 Magnavox released the first at home video game console called the Magnavox Odyssey. Most video game consoles only had one game but the Magnavox Odyssey had multiple that you could play such as hockey, soccer, volleyball and many others. This was only the beginning because next came Nintendo and Sega consoles competing with each other. Now we have so many great options.

One thing I would do to make the world a better place would be to help with all the garbage. This might not be the biggest help but it would be something I would like to do. I want to find a way to help, not only in my neighborhood but also the oceans.

Picking up trash helps the oceans and the animals. There is so much trash in the ocean already so if I can stop more from going in the ocean I would. There are ways people are using to clean trash and pollution from the oceans now but, they only do a small amount. I would like to find a way to do more bigger and faster.

I think there are many ways this can help not just the plants and animals in the ocean, but everyone else also. By being able to clean up the trash we could help with food sources. There would be better sea life making fishing easier. Clean oceans also help with climate making tempetkres regular and filtering the air.
