The thermostat is regulating device that senses the temperature of a physical system and makes sure the temperature is at the right setting. When the thermostat was invented in 1830 things changed because you didn’t need a fire to stay warm because all you had to do was turn a nob. Andrew Ure invented the thermostat because he wanted to help people who worked in factory’s because it can get very cold.
The Cash Register
The cash register is a money handling system that calculates transactions. The cash register was invented because small business owners just had a drawer to store money in which made it very easy to steal. When it was invented all most every business had one.
The Light Bulb
The light bulb is an electric globe that has a wire that glows when heated. The light bulb is one of the most popular inventions and is very important. Before light bulb one of the ways to see was using candles. The inventor is Thomas Edison and he was not only an inventor he was also a businessman.
Steam Turbine
The steam turbine is a device that extracts energy from pressurized steam and uses it to do mechanical work. The steam turbine is used on airplanes, ships, missiles, and so many other things. It is also used on generators to make electricity.
